Group Xcercise is the heart of what we do!!!

Group exercise is typically defined as “exercise performed by a group of individuals led by an instructor” – but at Xcelerate Fitness it is so much more! Our instructors love what they do and they want to see our members meet their fitness goals. All our group exercise classes are part of your monthly dues – NO EXTRA COSTS FOR CLASSES! We also provide one of the most extensive group exercise calendars in the Valley.

Group exercise offers a variety of benefits you might miss out on if you choose to work out on your own. Some of the benefits include exposure to a social and fun environment, a safe and effectively designed workout, a consistent exercise schedule, an accountability factor for participating in exercise, and a workout that requires no prior exercise knowledge or experience.

GROUP XCERCISE CLASSES

Zumba®

The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got a Zumba® class!

Zumba Gold is for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba®class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity.

The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba®choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat, and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.

Spinning

The Spinning® program is an individually paced, non-competitive, group training program designed for all ages and fitness levels. Each bike is equipped with an adjustable resistance knob, which allows each student to select his/her own level of intensity.

As an Official Spinning Facility, you’re not only getting the world’s most tested line of bikes and comprehensive training program, you’re getting the benefit of 10+ years of experience in providing the highest level of indoor cycling in the industry. Our STAR 1 and STAR 3 certified instructors have been trained to coach new students and help all participants achieve a fun, safe and challenging workouts. Instructors also employ Spinning® Energy Zones™, which define target heart rate zones for specific training goals. By employing heart rate training, students receive a highly personalized workout.

SILVER SNEAKERS GROUP XCERCISE CLASSES

Are you 65 or older?
SilverSneakers is a free fitness program for seniors that’s helping millions of boomers and beyond defy the odds, shatter stereotypes
and answer every challenge with, “I can do this!”

SilverSneakers includes unlimited access to every participating gym and fitness center in the network. The SilverSneakers fitness classes are for all abilities led by certified instructors. At Xcelerate Fitness we offer three different SilverSneakers formats. Even if your insurance does not participate in the SilverSneakers program, you are welcome to join our SilverSneakers classes.

Classic

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscle strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated exercises and standing support. This class can be adapted by the student depending on their fitness level and abilities. It is suitable for beginning to intermediate skill levels.

Circuit

 The SilverSneakers Circuit workout offers standing, low-impact choreography alternated with standing upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball. A chair is available for support. This class is suitable for nearly every fitness level and can be adapted depending on the skill of individual participants.

Cardio

A safe and heart-healthy aerobics class to energize your active lifestyle using low-impact movements that focus specifically on building upper-body and core strength plus cardio endurance. This is a higher intensity class than Classic and Circuit.
